The Story Behind the Business

Kenny grew up in Gwinnett County after coming to the United States as a child. After high school, he joined the Marine Corps Band, later studied music education at the University of Georgia, and pursued advanced music training at Peabody Conservatory in Maryland.

He also served in the Army Reserve Band while living in the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland area. During the pandemic, he returned to Gwinnett because he wanted to raise his child in the kind of suburban, family-friendly community he grew up around.

That return home eventually led to Musical Elements. Kenny started the business in 2022, and through alumni, friends, families, word of mouth, Google, and local school connections, the studio began to grow. Today, Kenny teaches saxophone, and about nine teachers use the studio to support students across different instruments.
